Exhibition: It’s All About Balance by Joan Webster-Vore
Joan Webster-Vore produces mixed media work in response to the natural environment in which we live, the illusive shadows, movements, and changes, the search for balance. The universe, the political and sociological environment, the air, land and water, our humanity, all need balance to survive and thrive.

Those remaining exist in isolated equatorial environments with climates resembling the one in which they once thrived. The three most colossal creatures across land, sea and air within that tropical biosphere hold, in their DNA, the key to a drug that will bring miraculous life-saving benefits to humankind.

Friday Live Music at TAP’d
“Iowa! It’s been a while. I’m looking forward to playing for my hometown crowd at Tap’d on July 4. My set will follow the parade. Come hang.” – Alex Bergan
About Alex: As a native of Iowa, Alex began writing music at the age of 15. Like many artists, he’s navigated through countless avenues trying to find the most honest and authentic version of his sound. Once a successful formula was found, it didn’t take long until he’d open for artists such as Nathaniel Rateliff, David Ramirez, Todd Day Wait, Wilderado, John Butler, Riley Downing (The Deslondes) and Kenny Loggins, to name a few. Now residing in San Diego, byway of a ten-year Naval career, Alex has made his mark within that scene. In 2023, he earned a nomination from the San Diego Music Awards for ‘Best Folk/Acoustic Album’ with nods to his EP, My Notebook. In 2024, Alex put another notch in the belt with a San Diego Music Award win for his acclaimed single, Unpromised Land. Now, in 2025, he landed a SDMA win for his tune, Ghost in the Addict. Alex has also been nominated in San Diego Magazine’s “2025 People of the Year” for Best Singer / Songwriter and Best Male Vocalist. Alex’s debut album, “Undercover” is out now and features a wide array of friends and guest singers. Among that list are David Ramirez, Francis Blume, Ash Easton and Justin John Rodriguez.

We have Sierra Griggs on the 4th of July! Sierra makes her way back up from Southern Iowa to play us a nice array of country, pop and classic rock! You’ll hear all your favorites from Taylor Swift, Laney Wilson, & Miranda Lambert to go along with her Nashville recorded singles! Sierra is playing a split shift for us! At 8PM (before the fireworks) and then again after the fireworks.
