Community Clean Up is the week of April 16-22, 2023
Event Description: The many events of Clear Lake Earth Day remind us of the common thread of creating well-being for our families, community and our natural home. Each is interconnected – whether it’s outdoor recreation for good physical and mental health, clean water, healthy food, recycling, conserving energy, reading, telling stories, or the very visible act of picking up trash in our community “backyard.” For more event details, visit www.earthdayclearlake.org.
Clear Lake Earth Day events kick off with the annual Green Expo! Celebrate the arrival of Spring and sample fresh local food, get started with your garden, learn about outdoor fun, how to cut your fuel bill or starting a career in wind turbine technology. Exhibitors include everything from landscapers, spa professionals, local food organizers, outdoor adventurers, health consultants, artists, energy consultants, students and much more. Numerous local businesses will showcase their green products and representatives from numerous local and statewide non-profits will be available. A complete list of vendors and other information is available on the website listed above.
The Green Expo is held from 4-7 p.m. and sponsored by the Clear Lake Earth Day Committee and the Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce. Click here to sign up!
