Hosted by Lake Time Brewery and the Clear Lake Rotary Club, the annual event has become one of North Iowa’s premier craft beer festivals. This year, Brews on the Beach celebrates its 10th year, welcoming craft beer fans from across Iowa and the Midwest to City Park on Saturday, July 11, 2026.
What Is Brews on the Beach?
Brews on the Beach is a fun, outdoor craft beer festival held each summer in City Park across from the seawall of Clear Lake, Iowa. Attendees can sample beers from Iowa breweries while enjoying live music, local food vendors, and one of the most scenic event locations in the state. More than 22 breweries have already confirmed their participation, with additional breweries expected to join the lineup before the event. Visitors can sample a wide variety of craft beers, from light summer ales and lagers to hoppy IPAs, stouts, sours, and seasonal specialties. With attendance capped at just 1,000 people, tickets often sell out before event day.

Part of what makes Brews on the Beach unique is its setting. Instead of a convention center or parking lot, the festival takes place just steps from the water in Clear Lake’s historic City Park. Guests can enjoy unlimited beer samples while taking in lake views, listening to live music, and exploring downtown Clear Lake before or after the event. Live Music and Food Trucks
Throughout the afternoon, live music from Adam Theiss will fill the City Park Bandshell, creating the perfect soundtrack for a day on the lake. Food trucks will be located on Main Avenue just outside the festival entrance. Guests can leave the event to grab food and return using their wristband.
