You’re Invited to the 2022 Launch Party!

Consider this your formal invite to attend the premier party of the year! The Chamber Team will be invading Tap’d on Main Avenue Thursday afternoon (Jan 13th) beginning with a business after hours gathering at 4:30PM. Come for the networking but stay for the fun!
“Ain’t no party like a Chamber party – ‘cause a Chamber party don’t stop.”
Well… sort of. This one is actually over at 6PM, but you get my point.
It’s going to be awesome, and you should be there!
At promptly 5:30PM, we will be revealing the cover of the 2022 Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce Visitor Guide, and it will be the first chance to peek inside this incredible magazine to see all the fun we have planned for the upcoming year!
In case you’re not familiar with the publication, it won the People’s Choice Award at the 2015 Iowa Tourism Awards Program. Since then, the guide has been a hit with locals, as well as our many visitors. Filled with fun stories, interesting community facts, and a plethora of information pertaining to events, activities, and businesses around town, it’s a trifecta of information about Clear Lake.
So where can you get your hands on one?
Well, a guide is scheduled to be delivered to every door in Clear Lake and Ventura. Local Chamber Members also carry them in their store, so you can pick one up as you’re out and about around town!
The business directory is perfect for locals who are looking for a good or service and aren’t sure where to go. But that’s not it’s only purpose. It’s also meant as something of a handbook to our countless visitors and guests who vacation with at the Lake. The Visitor Guides can be found at Iowa Welcome Centers, are given to bus tour groups who stop in town and are handed out at trade shows across the Midwest.
I think of them as hand-held billboards, highlighting all the awesomeness of Clear Lake to entice travelers to choose us for their next Midwest vacation destination. In fact, there is a place on our website, www.clearlakeiowa.com, to request a guide. We fulfill thousands of these each year, mailing guides all over the country.
Or, as we are living in a digital world these days, a link on the website will enable you to download the digital version. This one is common, as there are hundreds of thousands of visitors to our website each year, and we are happy to keep them up to date on all the fun going on around town.
