As much as I love, love, love the summer… I have to admit that fall is, by far, my favorite season of them all.  Mostly, because September is my birthday month, and who doesn’t love an entire day devoted solely to them?

I mean, duh!

But that’s not the only reason.  I also love fall for the cool temps, the miraculous change as the leaves turn to golden hues of red and orange, and the fact that football graces my television on the weekends.

Yeah… I’m one of those girls that actually LIKES to watch football.  I’m such a catch.

But I have a confession to make.  A deep, dark secret that has been burning through my insides for quite a few years now.  I’ve never told anything this horrific bit of information, in fear I’d be publicly flogged for my transgression.

Here it is….

The deep dark secret…

I hate all things pumpkin.

Oofta!  It feels good to finally get that off my chest.  I just don’t get it.  The mushy, slimy insides of a pumpkin baked into goods and put into drinks and candles and God only knows what else.  It’s just gross!  Now… I will admit that it COULD have something to do with the fact that I have no sense of smell.  So maybe I’d like the SMELL of pumpkin.  But the only part I know, the only part I’ve ever experienced, is the nasty taste in a muffin or a coffee.

And, no thank you, sir!  Yucky.

What I DO like that seems to be a preference of many in the fall, is wine.  White wine, red wine, wine in a bottle or box.  It does not matter.  I will drink it all and enjoy every little tiny morsel of its deliciousness.

This is why Harvest Festival is my favorite thing in the world.  Yes, yes, I know I probably said that about the 4th of July Extravaganza too, but I actually think I love Harvest Fest more.  The vendors, the live music, and the wine tasting… it’s all just so perfect.

Even last year in the rain!  Oh yeah… this girl and her best friends powered through the nasty weather and spent the whole day downtown.  Not much will stop us from enjoying a fabulous girls day together!

Now… the VIP experience is all sold out, but you can still get General Admission tickets to this event.  You get a bag full of swag, some amazing gifts and goodies, and an awesome wine glass that people just keep re-filling for you all day long.

Honestly, what could be better in life?

So don’t delay.  Grab your ticket at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/harvest-festival-wine-and-beer-tasting-2018-tickets-48382200464?aff=ehomecard.

I’ll see you there!!!
