Wow.  Just wow.  In the blink of an eye, the summer has flown by, once again.  Is it just me or does time seem to speed up, racing along like a freight train barreling down the tracks, when you’re having fun?

I think it does.  And boy, did we have fun this summer.  Event after event after event.  Nobody has as much fun as we do in Clear Lake.

Can I get an Amen?

So with all that fun, we need to give a shout out to all the people that gave us their time, that stepped in and helped make these events such an incredible success.

First up: The 4th of July Extravaganza!

Our week-long celebration of our Nation’s birthday is a big one in Clear Lake.  Y’all know about the carnival, the parade, the Bingo tent, and the fireworks.  But do you know all these people spend countless hours working behind the scenes to make that happen?

All the bingo volunteers, parade set-up volunteers <– These people are ROCK STARS!  Please consider joining them next year, because it’s a lot of fun AND super helpful!

Taylor Barragy, Larson’s Mercantile, for assisting Trish on the 4th

Evans United Shows – there’s almost no words to describe how amazing they are.  They go above and beyond to ensure our community has an amazing time riding rides, playing games, and eating deliciously awesome fried foods!

Entertainment Sponsors:

Kingland Systems, Joshua Homes, VFW, Woodford Lumber/CL Tel, Clear Lake Bank & Trust & Larson’s Mercantile.  Thanks you for the remarkable concerts in the park.  They rocked this year!

Whew!  See what I mean?  It takes a village, and we are forever thankful for everyone who stepped in to make our 4th of July celebration the BEST around.

But the fun didn’t stop there…. Oh no, the Chamber hosted a golf tournament at the end of July that was a full day of non-stop fun for Chamber members!

We did it again, folks.  We had the best summer possible at the Lake.  Now, as we slide through Labor Day weekend into fall, let’s take a break and rest becau…..

Oh wait – scratch that.  We’ve got more incredible events planned for the fall.  Stay tuned!  No matter the season… there’s always something to do at the Lake!
