Clear Lake has a ton of fun lined up for St. Patrick’s Day Weekend 2023! Thursday through Sunday, celebrate with delicious food, fun activities, and 8 opportunities to enjoy live music at the lake. Talk about the luck of the Irish!

Stop into the Clear Lake Arts Center for your final chance to enjoy their annual North Iowa Student Art Show in the Hanson Gallery that runs through Saturday, March 18. School districts in Cerro Gordo and the surrounding counties were invited to bring student artwork in for our annual student art exhibition. See works from talented Clear Lake, Forest City, Garner-Hayfield-Ventura, Hampton-Dumont, CAL, and West Hancock students .While you’re there, check out the Art Center’s Make Your Mark Graffiti Wall, grab a paintbrush and get creative!

Still feeling crafty? Swing by the Clear Lake Public Library on Thursday for a fun “Crafternoon” for all ages from 2-4pm (come & go).

Ok. Now we are not only feeling VERY CREATIVE, but also VERY HUNGRY! It’s time for another super popular charcuterie workshop at 173° Craft Distillery, this time with a St. Patrick’s Day theme. Christina from CharcuteMe will teach you how to make your own board, plus you get a $10 drink credit with your ticket.  The fun starts at 6:30pm on Thursday evening, register at CharcuteMe.com.

Trivia Thursday continues at Lake Time Brewery at 7pm in the taproom. Gather your friends and create a team of up to 6 players for a chance to win some awesome prizes. Whether you’re a history buff, pop culture guru, or sports fanatic, there will be something for everyone in their trivia game.

The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band returns to the Surf Ballroom for another amazing live performance on Thursday. With multi-platinum and gold records, strings of top ten hits such as “Fishin’ In The Dark” and “Mr. Bojangles”, multiple Grammy, IBMA, CMA Awards and nominations, the band’s accolades continue to accumulate.  Join them for The Hits, The History, & Dirt Does Dylan at the historic Surf Ballroom!
