You loved us dressed up as silly elves as we flounced from Chamber Member to Chamber Member last winter. Now, you get a chance to see Stacy and Rachel on LIVE TV as we traveled to Rochester to participate in KTTC’s newest show, Midwest Access. Click here to view the live segment!
Midwest Access is an hour long show that will feature many talented people in the Midwest who can resonate with the audience. There will be cooking tips, health tips, fitness tips and ideas on where to take vacations in this part of the country, among many other things.
I believe we would fall into a dual category.
Because Clear Lake is both “where to take vacations in this part of the country” and “many other things.”
On Wednesday, September 14th, Stacy and Rachel chatted a bit about Clear Lake. We discussed how the town isn’t just a summer destination for vacations and lake time fun. Our main focus, however, will be the upcoming Harvest Festival event on October 1st. While the deadline to pre-order souvenir bags has come and gone, you can still participate in various activities during the festival. Plus everything beautiful downtown Clear Lake has to offer. We’ll chat about the Champagne 5K, how the streets are lined with amazing vendors and food trucks, and how our Main Ave businesses utilize the event for fun sales and specials.
Hopefully it will bring a fresh, new group of visitors to our area. Some who maybe never new about all the fun going on in Clear Lake!
But mostly, how it’s the ultimate girls’ day and how you DON’T want to miss it!
During the segment, we showcased a few of the local wines, as well as craft beer from our very own Lake Time Brewery. We talked about all the fun activities planned for the day, and we even had a grape stomp demonstration!
