2026 North Iowa Fair “Where Memories Grow”
July 29-August 2 | North Iowa Events Center, Mason City
Experience five days of family fun featuring exciting attractions like the Tiger Experience, Jay Mattioli’s Electrifying Magic, Canines in the Clouds, Steamers Thrill Show, and Prehistoric Dinosaur Adventures. GoldStar Amusements returns with an exciting carnival, and the Midway Stage will feature live entertainment every day. Families will love the Family Fun Park with free inflatables and yard games, while kids can explore Little Farmers and the Ag Learning Center. See outstanding 4-H and FFA exhibits, along with Open Class Exhibits, the Open Cattle Show, Open Bucket Bottle Calf Show, and Open Horse Show. Enjoy delicious fair favorites along Treat Street, then browse unique vendors inside the All Seasons Shopping Mall and throughout the fairgrounds.
6-9 PM | Downtown Clear Lake
Live music, classic cars, bounce houses, vendors, shopping, and downtown energy return as Thursdays on Main! This week: live music with Dirty Champagne & Kinney Pioneer Museum with pioneer-themed activities, interactive games & coloring pages, plus a performance by Dancin’ with Roxie dance clinic participants.

Step back in time and experience the golden era of big band music.
McIntosh Woods State Park Fur Program

Melges-15 Championship July 29-August 1 | Clear Lake Yacht Club
The Clear Lake Yacht Club is hosting ILYA Dinghy Week in partnership with the Inland Lake Yachting Association (ILYA), bringing sailors from across the region to Clear Lake. This multi-day regatta features several championship fleets racing throughout the week. Each fleet races on its own course, so you’ll see activity on the water throughout each day as different groups compete during Dinghy Week.
