After A Hard Day’s Night of working the grind, plugging away at the office so you can pay your bills, only to get up and work Eight Days a Week all over again, it’s time for some fun. I mean, you don’t want to spend your life going Nowhere Man. You deserve to treat yourself, and the Clear Lake Chamber of Commerce has just the opportunity to get out on The Long and Winding Road. It’s a chance for you to travel Across the Universe… or, at least across the Pond.
Have you guessed it yet? No?
Hmm… maybe Eleanor Rigby could give you a hint. Oh shoot, I forgot that she left Yesterday… she’s taking a little Day Tripper on a Yellow Submarine.
“Hey Jude! Do you know the answer? I need some Help!”
That’s right, folks, it’s a Beatles Theme Tour to England – and YOU can go!
The fun begins on Tuesday, September 25th with the departure from Clear Lake. From here, you’ll travel to the Minneapolis Airport and fly out that afternoon, arriving in London-Heathrow the next morning. After a day of rest from the extensive travel, the fun ramps up for a jam-packed day of Beatles touring throughout the city.
Beatle fans don’t often realize that many of the iconic sites they associate with the Fab Four are in London and its surroundings, not Liverpool. After all, the ‘Mop Tops’ enjoyed their greatest successes after they’d moved south.
The next three days will be a mixture of seeing all the popular tourist attractions in London, and more Beatles touring. Besides seeing Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London, St. Paul’s Cathedral and Westminster Abbey, you’ll get to see over 100 iconic Beatles sites and be able to truly walk in the footsteps of one of the greatest bands in music history.
On Monday, October 1st, the tour heads to Liverpool. The next two days are spent touring the Beatles hometown, including Penny Lane and the actual Strawberry Fields.
This tremendous experience wraps up on Thursday, October 4th as you’ll travel back across the Pond to arrive home.
