Fun for everyone!

One of the reasons geocaching has gone from a small hobby to huge treasure hunts is because anyone can participate. It is a fun activity that knows no age limit, making it enjoyable for both the young and the young at heart. The sense of exploration, the joy of discovery, and the thrill of the hunt make this a timeless activity that transcends generations.
It’s fun for everyone!
Additionally, geocaching is done with others from all over the world. These hide-and-seek containers are often strategically hidden. Sometimes there is even a theme associated with the cache.
In Clear Lake, for example, ours reflect the three things we love the most!

Clear Lake, Iowa currently has three geocaches for the public to enjoy. “This’ll be the Day… you cache Clear Lake” is a tribute to our historic rock ‘n’ roll roots. Participants are encouraged to utilize the interactive feature at the location for the full experience. In fact, there may even be a bit of information you’ll need to know!
“Main Street USA” features one of 99 symbolic murals strategically placed throughout the state of Iowa. Be sure to observe your surroundings thoroughly. One of the objects holds the key to opening the word lock.
And lastly, “Welcome to Lake Life” is all about one iconic Clear Lake attraction. Because what would we be without our beautiful oasis? The lake is our focal point in both summer and winter, providing the backdrop for countless hours of fun for both the locals and tourists.
Hundreds of treasure hunters have come from far and wide for our geocaches. Some just popping into town on their road trip to another destination. Others staying for the weekend to enjoy everything Clear Lake has to offer.
Whatever the reason, one thing is for sure… our caches are fun for everyone!
