The most exciting time of the year is just around the corner, and we can’t wait to celebrate the Clear Lake July 4th Celebration with you! From July 2nd to July 6th, 2025, Clear Lake is the place to be for a full five days of festive fun, thrilling activities, delicious treats and holiday memories.

Kickoff on Wednesday, July 2nd: Our Clear Lake July 4th Celebration kicks off on Wednesday evening with the Lakeside Vendor Market. Wander through the market from 5 to 9 p.m. and discover unique treasures and tasty treats. The Evans United Shows Carnival also opens at 5 p.m., ready to offer fun rides and games for everyone. Don’t miss out on BINGO at the Chamber tent starting at 5 p.m. with the First Mates. To top off the night, The Schmidt Brothers (rock, pop, & country) will be rocking the stage with country music tunes at 7 p.m., thanks to our friends at Clear Lake Boats.

Keep it rolling Thursday, July 3rd: Explore the Lakeside Vendor Market from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The Evans United Shows Carnival has their first of two wristband days: $30 to ride from noon-5 p.m. Play Chamber BINGO from noon until 9:30 p.m. and at 7 p.m., dance the night away with M80s: The MTV Experience. They’ll be joined by Turn Me Loose (a Loverboy tribute) and Big Bam Boom (a Hall & Oates tribute), making it an 80s dance party you won’t forget, presented by Bank Iowa.

Independence Day Extravaganza Friday, July 4th: Start your Clear Lake July 4th Celebration with a burst of energy at the Freedom 5K and Kid’s Fun Run! The kids hit the ground running at 7:00 a.m., followed by the 5K at 7:30 a.m. along the parade route. After you’ve caught your breath, enjoy the the traditional Independence Day parade at 10 a.m.

This year’s parade is taking on a special significance as we honor Mayor Nelson Crabb as the Grand Marshal. The theme for the parade, “Love of Country, Love of Community” captures his 20 years of service to our community and the impact of his leadership.

From 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., the Lakeside Vendor Market will be buzzing with activity. The carnival opens at noon, and the BINGO tent kicks off at 1 p.m. Fun in the park leads up to the Clear Lake Municipal Band’s performance in the bandshell from 8:30 to 10 p.m., presented by Larson’s Mercantile. And of course, the night culminates with Flashing Thunder Fireworks over Clear Lake at 10 p.m. Tune into 106.1FM, AM1490, & AM1300 for a musical tribute to accompany the dazzling display.

Summer Fun Saturday, July 5th: The fun doesn’t stop there, we’re just getting started! On Saturday, enjoy the vendor market from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. BINGO starts at noon, and at 7 p.m., get ready to rock out with Arch Allies, America’s Premier Tribute Band, bringing you hits from Bon Jovi, Queen, Journey, and more brought to you by Clear Lake Bank & Trust, Curries/Assa Abloy, and Joshua Homes!

Family Fun Day unday, July 6th: Wrap up the Clear Lake July 4th Celebration on Sunday with more market and carnival fun! Take advantage of the second carnival wristband day from noon to 5 p.m. for $30. Join us for the Family Feud Game Show presented by CL Tel and Woodford Lumber & Home. It’s a perfect way to end an incredible week.
