After a year of postponements and cancellations, I think we are all ready for a bit of fun this summer, right? That cloud of disappointment lingering above us all has started to dissipate. The gentle winds of change blowing it off into the horizon and, hopefully, away from our lives for good.

So, I must ask you… are you ready to rock?

Yes? Perfect, then I have just the ticket for you.

Literally.

If you are one of the many people who missed live music this past year, you need to snag yourself a ticket to the primo event of the season out at PM Park, Roc the Lake. This two-day live music event, which is a postponement during last year’s virus debacle, will the held the last weekend in July (30th & 31st) and is slated to be an incredible weekend of food, music and drinks.

The party kicks off on Friday night with a performance by the band, 90s Rock Show, LA’s hottest new cover band playing all your favorite hits from the 1990s. They are guaranteed to rock your socks off, to get you up on your feet and dance the night away under the stars.

Sounds like heaven, right?

That’s just day one. On day two, Saturday, PM Park has booked five amazing bands ready to take the party to the next level. The extraordinary lineup includes the #1 rated Classic Rock cover band in America, The Trip. This highly acclaimed band hails from Orange County, California and is slated to perform all your favorite classic and modern rock and pop hits.

Also on the schedule is Back in Black, an internationally renowned AC/DC tribute band from Dallas, Texas. Direct from Charlotte, North Carolina, you can catch a set by REO Survivor. They play all your favorite hits from REO Speedwagon and Survivor. The ultimate Tom Petty cover band, Free Fallin, will have you singing along at the top of your lungs to all your favorite hits by Tom Petty. And, last but not least, the crowd favorite Joe Santana’s Kingfish.

Now, if you had planned to attend this ultimate rockfest in the summer of 2020 and purchased tickets, they are still good. They simply transfer over to 2021 and you are all set. If you have not purchased tickets, I suggest you get on that, pronto! While we are slowly getting back to the ‘good old days’ of normalcy, there is still a bit of caution for the safety of our many residents and guests in Clear Lake.

Thus, tickets are limited.

Excitement hardly justifies how I feel about this event. It doesn’t get much better than live music under the stars with our gorgeous lake in the background. Being outdoors, enjoying the company of friends, getting back to all the good things in life. It’s time to jump in with both feet. To fully immerse yourself in all the fun things that make Clear Lake such a great place to live, work, and play.

Tickets to attend only on Friday night cost $20. The full, two-day experience is a mere $39 and one heck of a steal. For all these great bands and hours of fun in the sun at PM Park? Sign me up!

See you at the Lake.

Rock on!
