Clear Lake’s favorite summer tradition is back! Thursdays on Main kicks off early on May 28, 2026, and trust us, you won’t want to miss a single Thursday night this summer. Each week, Main Avenue transforms into a bustling street party where the fun starts early, the music carries down the block, and downtown stays busy long after dinner. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Thursdays on Main is one of the best ways to spend a summer night in Clear Lake.
Hosted by the Clear Lake Chamber, Thursdays on Main features live music, classic cars, motorcycles, bounce houses, Strider Bikes, shopping, food, and plenty of reasons to stick around downtown a little longer. Many local retailers stay open late, patios fill up fast, and the whole district turns into a weekly summer hangout. Best of all? It’s free thanks to our amazing sponsors.
What’s New for 2026
This year, motorcycles are joining the fun! Bikers will have their own dedicated display zone and will follow the same timing and guidelines as the classic cars that will remain in their usual zone.
Also back this summer:
- New bounce houses with two rotating styles each week
- Wayne’s Strider Bikes for young riders
- Weekly special entertainment and community activities (see below!)
Cruise-In & Motorcycle Information
Classic car enthusiasts, we’ve got a spot just for you! Classic cars may begin parking at 5pm on a first-come, first-served basis in the 400 block of Main Avenue and 5th Ave. N.
Motorcycles will park along 1st Ave. N in front of Reserve 173°.
There’s no entry fee for either group. For pedestrian safety, vehicles inside the road-closed area must remain parked until 9pm. If you plan to leave early, do not park inside the road-closed area.
