Ring in the New Year with live music in Clear Lake!
Clear Lake is well known as a live music town, so it’s no surprise that talented musicians will take center stage to ring in 2016.
Over at the Surf Ballroom, Howl 2 Go by Howl at the Moon Dueling Pianos will be rocking songs of all genres with an interactive live music show. Howl at the Moon has 14 locations in major metropolitan areas (think NYC, Chicago, Denver), but lucky for us, also has a traveling show featuring their brilliant performers.
Know before you go:
- Tables will be set up on the dance floor (but feel free to get up and dance!)
- Check your coat for just $1 at the vintage coat check desk right inside the door.
- Dress code: Anything from jeans to black tie! It’s Clear Lake so there’s always that casual vibe, but being New Year’s Eve anything goes.
- Drinks: The CL Signature Cocktail “Clear Lake Breezer” makes its debut on their menu for 2016. (Malibu Rum, blue Curacao, lemonade, & Sprite.)
Bonus: Tickets include party favors and champagne at midnight!
Clear Lake New Year’s Eve Round Up:
The acoustic rock stylings of Spenser Rahm will be featured at the CL VFW Post 4868 from 6-9pm. You can also expect great drink specials and a fun party atmosphere.
Lake Time Brewery will be open from 2pm-6pm, and will be doing growler fills for $10!
Ge-Jo’s By-the-Lake will be open New Year’s Eve from 5-9pm for reservations (641-357-8288) or walk-ins.
Half Moon Inn will be open regular hours for New Year’s Eve.
The Anchor Inn will have a DJ starting at 10pm.
Rumorz Bar & Grill will have a dj & karaoke starting at 8pm with giveaways all night long.
