Sarah Nielsen joined First Citizens Bank as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in November 2017. First Citizens Bank has $1.6 billion in assets, employs approximately 200 people and is uniquely positioned as a locally-owned community bank with enough size to compete technologically while still being able to provide exceptional personal service.
Nielsen has over 25 years of financial leadership experience, and prior to joining FCB served served as CFO for Winnebago Industries, Inc. (NYSE:WGO) in Forest City for 12 years, the job opportunity that brought her and her family to Northern Iowa in 2005. Prior to that, she was a Senior Manager in the audit practice with Deloitte & Touche, LLP in Minneapolis. Nielsen received a Bachelor’s of Accountancy from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, and is a CPA. She and her husband, Wade, live on the Venetian Canal in Clear Lake with their two children, Hunter and Ella.
