Exhibition: It’s All About Balance by Joan Webster-Vore
Joan Webster-Vore produces mixed media work in response to the natural environment in which we live, the illusive shadows, movements, and changes, the search for balance. The universe, the political and sociological environment, the air, land and water, our humanity, all need balance to survive and thrive.

Summer Story Time
Join us each Wednesday this summer at 10:30 a.m. for a family story time for ages 0-5. Story time consists of stories, body movement activities, songs, and rhymes, helping children grow the skills they need to become lifelong readers. After the stories, feel free to stay and play and make new friends! Young children and their grown-ups are invited to join us for these free weekly events.

ONE DAY: Human Foosball Tournament
Get ready for a fun-filled day at the Human Foosball Tournament—a high-energy, team-based competition that raises funds to support One Vision’s mission of providing essential services for individuals with disabilities.
Spectators are FREE to attend and are encouraged to come out, cheer on the teams, and enjoy the lively atmosphere of First Thursdays on Main!
Teams of 6-8 players can register for $600 to compete in this exciting tournament. You’ll be battling it out for the title, and most importantly, helping to fund the incredible work that One Vision does every day.
So gather your team, sign up, and get ready for a friendly and competitive event for a great cause! Whether you’re on the field or in the crowd, your participation makes a difference.

Tom and Betsy Kirby of Mason City’s Betty and the Gents are thrilled to bring their well-known duo show back to TAP’d! This husband and wife team, affectionately called the “Tom&Betty Show,” is known for their take on popular covers, from old to new, and Betty’s “dreamy soul-pop” originals. Both multi-instrumentalists with diverse musical experiences in their histories, they have found joy in creating music together. The performance is a unique, high-energy acoustic show that will make you smile, sing, and maybe even dance along! Tom’s influences include the Beatles, Foo Fighters, Dave Matthews, and Garth Brooks. Always wanted to learn guitar? Here is your chance! Instructors Bruce Ray & Roger Lasley will host beginner guitar classes throughout the summer. Iowa DNR will have a presentation starting at 9 am at The Ventura Shelter House followed by the fishing tournament. This is for kids 15 and under. Everyone goes home with a prize and hotdogs, chips, and beverage will be provided at the end of the tournament. Any fish can be caught and weighed but you must follow state regulations. Hope to see you all there!
