Nov 6. Holiday Candlelight Preview: See what several retailers have in store this season from 5-8pm.
Nov 20-22. Peter Pawn’s Pizza & Pawn Shop: Kitchen Sink’s Annual Cup o’Joe melodrama at the Clear Lake Arts Center kicks at 6:30pm with Nonsemble, show starts at 7:30pm.
Dec 4. Lights On 5K: Kick-off for Opportunity Village’s Festival of Trees.
Dec 5-7. Festival of Trees: Over 100 trees and wreaths on display & for sale. Friday is Opening Night with appetizers & dessert. Saturday enjoy Breakfast with Santa, crafts & secret shop for kids. Sunday cookie walk.
Dec 6. Christmas by the Lake Festival: Craft show, petting zoo, strolling Dickens characters, horse drawn sleigh rides, trolley rides, Santa’s Workshop at the Arts Center, storytime at the Library, free matinee at the Lake Theatre, lighted parade, and fireworks.
Dec 6. Christmas with the Nelsons: From the Holly Jolly 50’s whentheir father Ricky was a little boy to Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree, this holiday show is fun for all ages. Free chili. Doors open at 6pm. Surf Ballroom
Dec 6. Holiday Madrigal Banquet: Theater-in-the-round traditional Olde-English feast set with a Victorian theme and includes a multi-course meal, beverages, and an array of professional entertainment. Best Western, seating at 6:30pm.
Dec 7. Polar Bear Dip: Plunge into the lake for charity. 12:30pm at City Beach.
Dec 7. Treasure Hunt: Kids ages 12 and under hunt for a token and redeem it for a fun prize. 1pm Lakeview Room.
Dec 13. Christmas Tea: Experience the Christmas Story with music and an elegant luncheon. First Congregational Church, 1:30pm.
