The 10th Annual Harvest Festival on Saturday, October 4th will once again fill downtown Clear Lake with the smells, sounds, and tastes of fall!  Mosey down Main and browse at 75+tents! The expanded Farmer’s Market section explodes with all the offerings that fall harvest brings:  big, bushy mums, fresh picked produce, pumpkins & gourds, and squash.Buy some crispy, chewy bread, gooey rolls, gourmet cupcakes and other homemade goodies to snack on while you browse (be sure to get some to take home too!).  Craft vendors offer handmade decorative items and jewelry made from various mediums: wood, ceramic, metal, leather, and there is even a blacksmith hard at work in the park! Be sure to head indoors too as our retailers have their stores brimming with exciting fall products!

The Grape Stomp is always exciting, and folks have really gotten into the newer competitions: Pumpkin Roll Relay and Course des garcons de café (Waiter Races).

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Clear Lake event without music.  Jazz favorites Easy Listening, Last Minute Combo, Nova Jazz, plus classic rock band Crossfire and new this year, acoustic band The Hats!

It’s all about the wine and beer samples, with 15 locations to taste both local and national products.  Be sure to vote on your favorite wine of the day to be entered to win a gift basket!

To celebrate 10 years, the Harvest Bag will include a commemorative tasting glass, a silver wine bottle stopper, plus the bag itself is a reusable jute wine bottle holder with the 10th anniversary logo!  Plus, you also get Cabin Coffee Co and Cookie’s etc. samples, coupons, and other goodies.  Bags are limited to 1000, and can be purchased online or in person at the Chamber office.  Plan to be a part of this iconic celebration, and head over to Clear Lake the first Saturday in October!
