There are so many things to be excited about this Friday.  I mean, first off, just the fact that IT’S FRIDAY makes me giddy with glee.  Weekends at the Lake are seriously the best ever.

But this week, the excitement is magnified because there’s only one more sleep until Harvest Festival.

Kudos to all the people who purchase the Harvest Festival Survival Kit this year.  YOU are the reason we are able to pull off this event in the midst of a global pandemic.

In case you missed the big news this morning, we have officially SOLD OUT of bags for the event.  Which means Main Ave in Clear Lake is going to be hopping tomorrow.

The past month or so, I’ve written various blogs about the event.  The most recent being one about expectations and how the day will shake down.  Check it out here to be up to date and in the know about all things Harvest Festival.

And, as always, be sure to follow our Facebook Page for any additional updates or announcements pertaining to the event.

Also, in maybe the greatest news of all time… my phone app shows the rain is OUT of the forecast for Saturday.  And, to top it off, Mother Nature graced us with a nice, hard frost last night, sending those tiny little black bugs back to the depths of Hell from whence they came.

Seriously, those little buggers really know how to ruin a fun day of outdoor activity in the fall!!

I’m keeping this short today, because I, too, am in the throws of preparation for Harvest Festival.  Being a vendor, I have a newfound respect for all the tables set up along the street.  It takes A LOT of work to prepare for events like this, so please be sure to stop at the tables, buy the things, and chat with the vendors!

Most of all – HAVE A GREAT DAY!  Don’t forget to stock up on wine for the upcoming winter months.  Maybe buy an extra bottle or two just in case we have to cancel school again.

Get a good night’s sleep tonight, my friends, because Saturday is going to be a level of fun of epic proportions.

See ya at the Lake!  Cheers!
