The Gardener’s of North Iowa are hosting the Gardener’s of America/Men’s Garden Club National Convention in Clear Lake, Iowa June 24-27, 2015. The theme is Planting Your Dream in 2015.
Fresh on Friday’s at Central Gardens in downtown Clear Lake features fresh tastes, fun activities, and yoga!
The event will be based at the Best Western, where nationally known speakers will address attendees. Garden tours are also on the agenda, with a tour of the “Prettiest Farm in Iowa,” our own Central Gardens, and lots of other interesting private gardens throughout North Iowa. A photography contest will also be held.
Featured speaker and Clear Lake resident David Okerlund will present “Finding Happiness in the Garden of Life” at Saturday’s banquet.
The convention is open to the public, and full or one-day registration rates are available. Sign up by May 1st for the early bird rate.
