Clear Lake has the longest consecutive running July 4th Celebration in the State of Iowa. Each year, we host over 50,000 visitors to our festival, which is known throughout the midwest.

The event kicks off on Wednesday, July 1st at 5pm when the Carnival, Evans United Shows, returns to town for their 42nd year.  Also opening at 5pm is our popular art & craft fair which is lakeside, and the fun BINGO tent in City Park.

The fun continues through Sunday with live music in the park every day. (See below for full schedule of events).  Our Independence Day parade is widely known and marches down Main Avenue on July 4th promptly at 10am.  The biggest & brightest fireworks in the midwest are displayed over the lake at 10pm on July 4th.
